With the festive season fast approaching, we thought it would be appropriate to give you some prior notice of the payroll deadlines we will be working to over the Christmas period this year. As ever, it is essential that we can ensure contractors are paid in a timely manner to avoid any disruption to your business during the festive period.
Week before Christmas
For the week commencing Monday 19th December, our payroll submission deadlines will remain the same, however, it is our intention to have made all payments to contractors by midday on the 23rd December, therefore, please ensure all instructions have been submitted with this in mind.
Week between Christmas and New Year
For the week commencing Monday 26th December our payroll submission deadline will be Wednesday 28th December, by no later than 2pm. Due to the significantly limited time available to our teams to set up and run the payroll, during this week, we will unfortunately not be able to process any payroll submissions submitted after this time, therefore, please ensure that you meet this deadline to avoid any unwanted disruption. Any payroll received after this time will be processed in the following week where the payroll deadlines will resume as normal.
Payments
It is very important to note that, for this week only, to allow our teams to manage the limited time available to them to process payroll, all payments will be made on Friday 30th December and will be in workers accounts by 5pm on this day.
Payments will not be processed overnight on Thursday as normal, therefore, workers will not see payment in their accounts first thing in the morning as they normally do. Please be aware of this when speaking with your workers/contractors ahead of payday.
With Christmas falling somewhat awkwardly again this year, it is important that we give ourselves the best possible chance to process payroll with as little disruption as possible, therefore, we ask that you help us to deliver a smooth service by working to the above deadlines.
